Portokalopita Sweet Deserts
Ingredients for the recipe:
- 200 g. yoghurt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- zest of one orange
- 2 packages vanilla
- 450 g. Zagorisio pastry puff dough
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup orange juice
- zest of one orange
Recipe Execution:
Mix the baking powder into the yogurt and let it stand 5 'to rise. Beat at high speed of mixer the sugar with the eggs, olive oil, lemon zest and vanilla until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is fluffy.
Stop hitting and stir the yogurt gently into the egg mixture.
Fold one one the leaves, closing within your two palms and forming a shape like a rose. Place one next to another, within the pan 35 cm., Greased and let stand at room temperature several hours to dry.
Pour the liquid material to the leaves using a spoon , making sure to go everywhere, between the folds.
Let pie stand 10 ' so the leaves absorb enough of the mixture and bake at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes or until golden brown surface.
